INVITATION TO ENTER - COLLEGES

The Craft Guild of Chefs and The NZ-UK Link Foundation are delighted to announce that this years Culinary Challenge will take place at Westminster Kingsway College on 10th November 2008.

Once again we will offer the opportunity for a young chef to experience a unique all expenses paid three-week working holiday in New Zealand.

I would like to invite you to support this competition by nominating and entering a candidate for this year’s event. Competitors should be between 18 and 23 years old as of 1st December 2007, in training or employment and holding a British passport. Paper entries are required by 15th October.

Ten successful finalists will compete on Monday 10th November at Westminster Kingsway College, London. All finalists and mentors will be invited to New Zealand House on 11th November where the winners will be announced in the presence of HRH Princess Anne. Other guests on the day will include senior industry figures and dignitaries.

The winner will be offered an all expenses paid three-week working holiday and two runners up will be offered the opportunity to work with Peter Gordon at the acclaimed Providores Restaurant in London.

In addition all finalists and mentors will be invited to New Zealand House, London, to experience an excellent awards evening in prestigious surroundings. Please find attached information on entering as well as rules and regulations.
