The Army Catering Training Trust (ACTT) was established in late 1997 to receive, manage and use externally provided funds in support of the Army Apprenticeship Programme and its associated qualifications; and manage and promote the continuous professional development of Army chefs.

The ACTT is a registered charity (number 3942879), and operates from the Food Services Training Wing, Defence Logistic School (DLS). The Managing Trustee of the ACTT Board of Trustees is the Chief Instructor, Food Services Training Wing. The remaining trustees are either from the Army’s catering function or the wider catering industry.

The ACTT is an approved Training Provider for the  new Apprenticeship Standards as well as an End Point Assessment Organisation.
