Job Description

The candidate
We\'re looking for an enthusiastic and committed chef - someone who is keen to build a reputation for themselves and their kitchen. Applicants will preferably have experience as Head Chef and be prepared to work on their own and run all aspects of a busy fresh food kitchen. They must have passion and creativity: From ordering local produce, developing menus to cooking and creating dishes The Chef will be encouraged to make the kitchen at Toko his / her home and flourish in this new establishment.

Job
The successful applicant must be able to run a busy kitchen with an eye for detail & be able to work with the management to build on the success already achieved. Stock control, buying, margins, menu creation, team building, health & safety, high standards & a sense of fun, all essential.

Toko Lounge
Established in 2007 in the village of Nendaz. One of the fastest growing mountain resorts in Switzerland, linked to verbier. Toko Lounge has established a reputation for good value and high quality fresh cuisine. The hotel has 10 rooms with a maximum capacity of 24 persons. We also handle some external catering during the summer. The business is driven by the tourist seasons mid December –mid April and June – October. End April, May & November we close.

Interview Dates from 20 - 27 April In England, Reading, Midlands, Liverpool

Applicants must be able to arrive in Switzerland by May 17 to start May 24.
