Beer and game matching evening

As part of the Craft Guild of Chef study trip articles organised by chef lecturer Jose Souto and Stockpot Magazine, on the 25th February at 6 pm there will be a beer and game matching evening at Westminster Kingsway College in London.

The evening will be sponsored by UK Game, the country's leading game dealer, and hosted by specialist game lecturer Jose Souto and chef lecturer Norman Fu both from Westminster Kingsway College.

R&R Teamwork will be supplying beer from all over the UK and around the world. Sampling and matching will be taking place using a selection of different game from pheasants and partridge through to different types of venison.

Each type of meat will be cooked simply to bring out the natural flavours of the game. An accompanying sauce will also be served with the game to add another element to the tasting. Information and background about the game and beer will be on hand for anyone attending.
