British Turkey introduces recipe writer of the year award

British Turkey is giving candidates the opportunity to battle it out to win the British Turkey Recipe Writer of the Year title.

To be awarded the prestigious title, entrants must send a copy of their published recipe using British turkey before the 1 August closing date. This can include fresh, frozen, whole birds, crown roast or leg joints, or turkey mince, diced turkey steaks or breast fillets.

 

It can be a recipe to feed a crowd or just an intimate dinner for two.

 

He only rule of the competition is that the recipe features turkey and has been published within the last 18 months.

 

The judging panel will be looking for creative, modern and stylish recipes using different cuts of turkey as the dominant ingredient of the dish.

 

Shortlist entries will be invited to a black tie dinner at Claridge's on 25 September, when the winner will be announced.

 

Those who wish to enter the competition must provide details of their name, telephone number, job title, place of work, and publication which featured their recipe, and send it to the following address:
