Celebrity chef John Burton Race runs Ivy House kitchen

Celebrity chef John Burton Race will be heading up the kitchen brigade at the Ivy House Dining Room & Bar in Tonbridge, starting tomorrow (12 August).

General Manager, Daniel Ward commented: "We are really excited to have John working alongside our team this week. As well as running the kitchen, John will be working on some new signature dishes for our autumn menu."

"John boasts a fantastic wealth of knowledge, and we can't wait to see what he has planned for the Ivy House."

The chef has worked at some top establishments in the past including Les Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, L'Ortolan and the Michelin starred restaurant at London's Landmark Hotel.

The Ivy House Dining Room & Bar in Tonbridge opened its doors on Thursday 14th May 2009, following a £150k refurbishment.

The celebrity chef was appointed as the restaurant's head of group development back in May.
