Chef Sophie Wright partners with Electrolux

Sophie Wright, previously at Westminster Kingsway College, has joined forces with Electrolux Professional to educate other students around the UK that passion and hard work can make them successful professional chefs.

With the release of her new book 'Easy Peasy Cooking' last month, Wright is keen to pass on advice and tips to other students.

Electrolux will be running road shows at various colleges across the UK where Wright will take centre stage and demonstrate her skills on Electrolux equipment.

The first road show has already kicked off at City of Bristol, where students engaged with Wright, taking her advice and tips on how to get ahead. The students watched a demonstration which saw Wright recreate various dishes from her book such as langoustine lasagne, seared scallops with julienne vegetable and ginger dressing and chocolate crème brulee.

Wright has taken a giant leap since her achievement as the Craft Guild Graduate winner in 2006, followed by numerous appearances on foodie television shows such as Market Kitchen, Food Poker & Daily Cooks.
