Cumbrian chef wins top prize with Aero promotion

Chef Emma Raine from small railway café in Langwathby, Cumbria, has won a brand new VW Beetle, courtesy of the Aero Hot Chocolate Win a Beetle promotion.

The on-pack promotion attracted over 11,000 entries and 86 new Aero customers.

The winning cook commented on how she went about winning the prize: "I simply went online and entered the Foodservice Rewards code from a tin of Aero Hot Chocolate and forgot all about it – that was until I got the call telling me I had won."

Gordon Edgar, Brief Encounter owner went on to explain the effect the promotion has had on the sales of the product: "We've been offering it to customers for just over a year now, since switching from another leading brand and in that time, our sales of hot chocolate have tripled.

"It's clearly a superior product in terms of quality, presentation and consistency and customers just love the bubbles – and makes a good margin for the business."
