Exclusive rate for Marcus Wareing lecture

Early February sees Arena and Marcus Wareing come together for the Annual Arena Lecture and now members of the Craft Guild of Chefs can buy tickets at a discounted rate.

Arena explained why it was so important to offer tickets at the cheaper rate: "Arena is delighted to be working with the Craft Guild of Chefs on our Annual Arena Lecture whereby our keynote speaker is Marcus Wareing. We recognise that in this current climate you will be deciding what events to attend in 2009 therefore Arena are in a position to offer Craft Guild members the discounted Arena members rate."

Saving £40, Craft Guild members can buy tickets at £135 + vat.

The event will be held at the Hilton Park Lane, London on Thursday 5th February.

The promotional flyer reads: "One of the brightest stars in British cooking, Marcus has rarely been out of the headlines since his 'split' from Gordon Ramsay earlier this year. The Annual Arena lecture will, however, allow attendees to go beyond the 'tabloid gossip' and see the real Marcus Wareing - understanding his motivations, principles and ambitions - as he lays himself open to a probing interview.

"The evening starts at 6pm and includes an economic briefing on the hospitality industry, drinks reception, three-course dinner with wine and the interview with Marcus, as well as plenty of time for networking."
