Facebook for the hospitality industry in the pipeline

Online networking company Viadeo is working with industry specialists The Hospitality Hub to bring the sector a brand new hospitality industry-networking tool.

The site www.hospitalityhub.com has been heralded as the hospitality industry's Facebook.

The developers are opening up the site to global hospitality companies and individuals, inviting them to submit information on services, events and products that will add value to the service and its users.

Hospitality professionals can register for free to start building their contact network, find suppliers and staff and promote themselves and their business. Benefits offered to association and company users include the set-up of branded communities designed specifically for them as part of their social media strategy.

The site will also work with content providers to send users the latest in news and events targeted to meet their specific interests as well as providing a job search facility.
