Go green with Gram

Gram, a manufacturer of energy efficient refrigeration equipment, has launched a brand new educational micro site 'Go green with Gram' that is specifically aimed at caterers looking for helpful advice on how they can increase the efficiency of their operations.

The online micro site offers visitors the chance to learn about the wealth of incentives that are open to operators looking to go green.

In addition, the site offers clarification on the use of the Energy Technology List, as well as downloadable resources from Gram such as 2008's Green Paper, the new Keep your Cool brochure, and an FAQ section with the 'Green Doctor' himself, Glenn Roberts.

Glenn Roberts, managing director at Gram UK, commented: "The foodservice industry is increasingly becoming aware of the impact it can have on the environment. With green issues high on everyone's agenda, it becomes the responsibility of manufacturers to take the first step, lead the way in educating operators on ways they can reduce their impact, and contribute to a greener future.

"This resource is just one of the many initiatives that we as a business are undertaking in a bid to give operators the tools and the information they need to make the right choices."
