Gordon Ramsay takes over Foxtrot Oscar

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has this week taken over and re-opened Chelsea’s classic neighbourhood bistro, Foxtrot Oscar.
Open since 1980, Foxtrot Oscar's ambience and simple comfort food has attracted a stream of regular diners.
In 1998, when Gordon Ramsay opened his nearby eponymous restaurant, he, like many others, fell for the bistro's charms. Gordon and his team of chefs became well known faces at Foxtrot Oscar and often dined at the restaurant after an evening's service.
Commenting on the forthcoming re-opening, Gordon Ramsay said: "I am tremendously excited about Foxtrot Oscar. My aim is to take the restaurant back to its glory days, providing fantastic food in a friendly, unpretentious environment – making it the ultimate local bistro."
The refurbishment of the building will enhance the cosy and simple nature of the restaurant's interior.
With a central colour scheme of cream and black, the refurbishment will create an atmosphere that is modern yet comforting.
The menu will be in keeping with the Foxtrot Oscar original but updated for today's diners, serving simple, classic dishes based around fresh produce and seasonal ingredients.
Starters will feature'Chicken liver parfait with toasted brioche' and 'Dublin Bay prawn cocktail', while main dishes will include 'Foxtrot fishcakes' and home-made pies. To finish, desserts such as apple tart and vanilla cheesecake will be served.
Foxtrot Oscar will host up to 60 guests and is open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week.
