Master chef accolade for Bristol cook Scott Lucas

Scott Lucas, the Craft Guild’s regional representative for Bristol and the West, has been elected to become a full member of the Master Chefs of Great Britain (MCGB).

Lucas, who has been a chef trainer and lecturer at the City of Bristol College for four years and a member of the Guild for 11 years, will in September be moving from his present teaching post to open and run the kitchens at the new South Bristol Skills Academy being opened by the college.

This year, along with his colleague Adrian Kirikmaa from the college, he has also been asked to host and compere the Master Chef's demonstration theatre at the Bristol Wine & Food Fair that takes place from July 2-4, an event that is expected to attract more than 14,000 visitors.

Both will also do a solo demo on modern takes on classical dishes. For more information, visit: www.bristolwineandfoodfair.co.uk
