Westminster Kingsway College (WKC) has revealed that it will be allowing more access to the college’s Gastronomy Collection – some of the finest culinary arts, cookery and gastronomy texts in the UK.

The unique collection has been based at the college for nearly a century and covers gastronomic history, cookery and culinary arts from around the world, with additional texts on associated topics such as healthy eating, place settings and table decoration that reflects changes in society over the past 100 years.

It is seen as an education and learning resources for the hospitality, catering and culinary arts students and lecturers at the college.

Donations from individuals such as the 20th century artist and photographer Lee Miller and the London based chef Michael Bourdin have been made, as well as loans from organisations such as the Association Culinaire Francaise in London.

Those interested in viewing the collection can email wgc@westking.ac.uk
