Regional finalists selected for YCYW

The regional finalists for the Young Chef Young Waiter (YCYW) competition have been selected.

The talented chefs and waiters, who are all under the age of 25, will compete at one of the following locations: Darlington College on 4 September, University College Birmingham on 11 September, and Thames Valley University, Ealing on 16 September.

 

A total of 16 finalists will be selected from the three heats to compete in the final at Westminster Kingsway College on 30 September, which will be followed by the National Final Gala Dinner and awards presentation at the Jumeriah Carlton Tower in London.

 

All of the national finalists will win a study trip to Champagne Besserat de Bellafon in Epernay.

 

Sponsors include American Express, the Savoy Educational Trust, the CMA, HSBC, Sodexo and Restaurant Magazine, along with new sponsors for this year which are Champagne Besserat de Bellafon, S.Pellegrino and Wild Harvest.
