Restaurants team up for Soil Association Organic Fortnight

Restaurants, schools, organic farms and retailers will be joining forces on 6-7 September to take part in this year’s Soil Association Organic Fortnight event.

Supporters will be hosting events all over the country from organic breakfasts, organic cookery lessons in schools and organic fashion shows.

The event, focusing on the message 'Love Your Planet, Choose Organic', will offer visitors the chance to look at why organic production – fashion, beauty, food and farming – is better for the planet.

The Fortnight, sponsored by Organix and Greenvale AP, kicks off with the Soil Association Organic Food Festival at Bristol Harbourside, sponsored by Yeo Valley Organic.

For more information and to get involved log onto www.soilassociation.org/organicfortnight. Visitors to the website will be able to access and interactive map which they can click on to see what's on in their area.
