The Kitchen kits students out for university

The Kitchen in Parson's Green, London, is introducing a week-long cooking course next week designed to teach students basic skills before heading to university.

The course, which kicks off on 10-14 August, has been created by Michelin Star chef and co-owner Thierry Laborde.

The five-day course is a culinary combination of soups, breakfasts, brunches, dinners and light bite meals.

All utensils, ingredients and aprons will be provided and the students will take away recipes which they have made over the five sessions to start them off in their first few weeks at university.

The classes run from 11-1.30pm daily and are priced at £240 per person. There are currently 10 places available.
