Graham Crump named secretary general of WACS

Warwick Conferences, the organisation for the three purpose built training centres and conference park at The University of Warwick, has announced that group executive chef Graham Crump has been named secretary general for the Education committee (EC) in the World Association of Chefs' Societies (WACS).

Crump will be working as one of nine individuals on the WACS Education Committee representing seven of the continental areas of WACS, in organising the educational structure and helping to improve the culinary standards of Global cuisines.

The committee will also be involved in devising exams and tests and to help encourage school leavers to consider catering.

WACS is a non-political, professional organisation dedicated to maintaining and improving the culinary standards of global cuisines through education, training and professional development of their international membership.
