New head chef at The Albion

Top chef Liam Kirwan has recently been appointed head chef at The Albion in Islington, bringing a wealth of experience under his belt.

Kirwan has worked at some of the finest restaurants in the capital such as Nobu, The Gun and Sands End, where he began to develop his own style using influences that he had acquired along the way.

The renowned chef aims to introduce a few of his Irish favourites to the menu such as the Crubini (pig's trotter).

However, all of the old traditional English dishes will still be available including Potted Duck and Toast, Shepherd's Pie, along with a few of Kirwan's added treats such as Pork Crackling with Apple Sauce, Roast Beef Bone Marrow served with Capers, Mash and Gravy.
