Unilever appoints new managing director

Unilever Foodsolutions UK has appointed Tracey Rogers as the company's new managing director.

She will be taking over from Simon Marshall who is moving to North America as Vice President of the Unilever Foodsolutions business.

Rogers, previously chairman of Unilever Central Europe, has been with Unilever for 17 years and prior to this, had a career with Tesco. Her international brand development and category management experience will complement the skills of the Unilever Foodsolutions UK senior team.

The newly appointed managing director commented on her new role: "I am delighted to be taking on my new role as Managing Director of Unilever Foodsolutions UK. I believe that my passion, experience and fresh perspective will further strengthen our position as market leader.

Brands belonging to Unilever include Knorr, Hellman's, PG Tips, Lipton, Flora and Marmite.
