2007 Competition Finalists and Winner

The final of this year's NZ-UK Culinary Challenge took place at the Restaurant Show on October 9th.

In front of a live audience, 8 young chefs battled it out, recreating their three course menu in just two hours.

The 2007 finalists were:

Ben Howarth
Chris Munroe
Stacey Warr
Katie Calland
James Dobson
Jon Paul Keeley

The winner was announced at an awards ceremony on November 16th...

Congratulations to Selim Kiazin, from Westminster Kingsway College, who wins the prize trip to New Zealand!

Ben Howarth from the Hand & Flowers in Marlow was placed second, while Larry Jayasekara, currently working at the Waterside Inn in Bray, came third.
