Final 10 are announced

The final 10 chefs that will compete against each other in this year's NZ-UK Challenge have been announced.

The chosen 10 are:

Nathan Drage, Northampton College 

Jamie Fanger, Crooked Beam Restaurant, Dorset

Rosa Fothergill, Oulton Hall, Leeds 

Sam Halford, North Warwickshire & Hinckley College 

James Hollister, Boxwood Café, London 

Kari Leckie, Cameron House Hotel, Argyll & Bute 

Ben Reeve, London Hilton 

Christopher White, Claridge’s

The prize consists of an all expenses paid working visit to New Zealand for the UK competitor, while a young New Zealander comes to Britian.

The competiton was the brain child of New Zealand chef Peter Gordon, of the Providores restaurant in London.
