The German manufacturer will be equipping the 16 competition kitchens with premium cooking appliances, including the FlexiCombi and SpaceCombi combi steamers and the FlexiChef multifunctional appliance.

Suited appliances from the MKN Modular series will also be used by the competitors live on stage at the competition, which brings together the ‘most talented culinary artists’ from all over the world, every four years.

The last IKA Culinary Olympics in 2020 saw around 1,800 participants from 67 nations produce a series of menus using MKN appliances, with Norway taking home the gold medal for National Culinary Teams.
