CGOC Awards 2012

Alaska Seafood Competition

Alaska Seafood is currently working with the Craft Guild of Chefs on a recipe design competition for UK chefs.

It is looking for entrants to create a modern main course dish for four persons using wild Alaskan black cod or sockeye salmon.

From the paper entries, the Craft Guild of Chefs will choose four finalists who will be asked to reproduce them at Westminster Kingsway Catering College, in a live cook off on February 7. Dishes will be judged by the Craft Guild, who will be looking for innovative use of the fish, with complimentary accompaniments.

The winner will experience a seafood cookery course at the Michelin starred Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons, overseen by renowned chef Raymond Blanc, and will also go on to cook their Alaska Seafood dish at the Craft Guild’s Skillery at Hotelympia 2012 at ExCeL in London between February 26 and March 1
