The Craft Guild of Chefs is once again searching for the industry’s finest for the coveted Craft Guild of Chefs Awards 2013

The Craft Guild of Chefs Awards celebrates its 20th anniversary of culinary excellence next year and the symbol used for its theme is the emerald, a fabulous jewel that signifies 20 years, which will bear the Craft Guild’s emblem for all to see on the night of the awards ceremony.

To mark this milestone celebrating the Craft Guild of Chefs ‘Oscars’ that recognises and rewards the hospitality industry’s leading talent, this prestigious event will take place in The Great Room at The Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair, London.

There are now 15 award categories for which nominations are sought covering all aspects of the chef profession across all sectors of the industry. One change that has been made this year is switching the Education Chef Award to Chef Lecturer Award to recognise the evolution of the education sector and the motivating force behind our student chefs.

The 16th award is reserved for one very special person who the Craft Guild believes has made an outstanding contribution to the industry, over and above the call of duty.

The winners will be announced before an anticipated audience of more than 800 industry professionals – a phenomenal achievement for the Guild.

In the ‘chefs’ circle, it will be the biggest event of the year that will celebrate 19 special award winners and announcing the 20th on the night. In our call for nominations, please take a few moments to fill in the nomination form and again remember that “if they aren’t in it, they can’t win it” – no one should question why someone hasn't been named if they haven't nominated them.
