NZ-UK Link Foundation Culinary Challenge 2010

The Craft Guild of Chefs and The NZ-UK Link Foundation are delighted to announce that this year’s Culinary Challenge will take place at Westminster Kingsway College on Monday 15 November 2010.

We would like to invite you to support this competition by nominating and entering a candidate(s) for this year’s event; or alternatively you can take part yourself if you comply with the competition criteria.

Competitors should be between 18 and 23 years old as of 1st December 2010, in training or employment and hold a British passport.

  • Entries are required by 1 October 2010.
  • The Eight successful finalists will compete at a cook-off on 15 November 2010 at Westminster Kingsway College, London.
  • The winner will be offered an all expenses paid three-week trip to New Zealand to work in some of the top NZ restaurants.
  • If you or your candidate are one of the eight finalists, your Restaurant or College will receive a complimentary case of Trinity Hill Wines.
  • The eight short-listed candidates and two nominated guests will be invited to an official Awards Ceremony, hosted by the NZ High Commissioner in the beautiful Penthouse Suite of New Zealand House, London in the early evening of 15 November.
  • The Guest of Honour will present the winners with certificates and prizes.
