Craft Guild of Chefs Spring Ball

Following the successful revival of the Craft Guild of Chefs Spring Ball last year, the Guild is promising another night to remember at the Crown Moran Hotel in Cricklewood, London, on Sunday, May 26. The event, co-ordinated by the Craft Guild’s social event organiser Dennis Mwakulua, will incorporate a sparkling wine reception with canapés, and a fabulous three-course menu created by Crown Moran’s executive chef Steve Scuffell, followed by an evening of live music and dancing.

Graduate Awards 2013

Now in its second decade, the Craft Guild of Chefs Graduate Awards offer working chefs under the age of 23 the chance to prove they really are at the cutting edge, and this year it incorporates a host of new incentives. Deadline for entries is May 17. Regional cook offs take place at University College Birmingham and University of West London on June 27, with the final cooking exam on September 5. The awards presentation will be London’s Jumeirah Carlton Towers Hotel on September 16.
