Director of Le Salon Culinaire International de Londres since 1994.

Director of Heart of England Salon Culinaire, Hospitality Week, National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham 1987- 2001.

Judge at many leading and respected competitions and Salons Culinaire within the industry, both in the UK and abroad.

Appointed UK Skills Chef Coach and judge at the World Youth Skill Olympics 1993 in Taiwan, Rep of China, resulting in 2nd place, Silver medal for the UK entrant; and Gold medal for the UK entrant in Lyon, France 1995.

National Committee member and Team Co-ordinator for Hospitality Skills.

Presented with Honorary membership of Les Toques Blanches Lyonnaises in 1992.

Presented with Honorary membership of Le Conseil Culinaire Francaise de Grande Bretagne in 1986.

Awarded the Craft Guild of Chefs Special Award in 1994 for commitment to the industry and Salons Culinaire.

Governor of Birmingham College of Food, Tourism & Creative Studies.
