A little benevolence from Robot Coupe

Craft Guild of Chefs business partner Robot Coupe has donated a sum of money to help students, trainees and those in employment wishing to further their knowledge and hone their skills in the foodservice sector.

Robot Coupe's discretionary allowance, which was raised at the recent conference of PACE (Professional Association for Catering Education) and received very well by the delegates, is designed to encourage further education in the hospitality industry.

The money, which will be administered through the Guild's Benevolent Fund, will be allocated in small amounts to help satisfy any training needs after completing a simple application form.

All applications must be received by the Craft Guild by Friday, September 10 2010, and accompanied by a citation of no more than 50 words from one of the following: tutor, lecturer, mentor or employer. Successful applicants will be notified within three weeks of the specified date.

The application panel will comprise a Craft Guild trustee, the Craft Guild chairman or his appointed representative, and the managing director of Robot Coupe or his appointed representative, and their decision will be final. Citation writers may be contacted direct to discuss the application.

• For further details, contact the Craft Guild on 0208 948 3870.
