Bombay Brasserie spices up offering with hot new menus and deals

Bombay Brasserie has piled its plate high with special offers and new additions to its menu ready for visitors to the restaurant in the coming months.

Kicking off the launch will be a series of Flavour Master classes, which will run from November to March from 12.30pm and are also available for single guests and as a gourmet gift idea.

Guests must pay £45 per person for an inclusive meal comprising a glass of champagne, and food tastings presented by the chefs.

Included on the tasting menu will be "melt-in-the-mouth Lal Mirch Ka Gosht lamb" as well as other new creations.

Following these will be the Tiffin Lunch, described as "an echo of the classic workers' lunchtime selection" of Bori, Parsi, Maharashtrian and Goan cuisine.

There will also be a celebration of Divali, which this year runs from 7-9 November, with a Flavours of Divali event held on Friday 5 November.

Also in the pipeline will be the Regional Taste Tour of Chillies on Friday 21 January 2011, and the Taste of the Royal Palaces of India on Friday 18 March, which will see guests all seated together at the open kitchen demonstration area, within the restaurants "sumptuous" dining room.

And in aid of one of the restaurant's best-loved ingredients will be a new Chilli Celebration Dinner season. Running from 17-30 January 2011, Bombay Brasserie is describing it as a celebration of "the subtlety and hidden depths of chillies" - and it will accompany the new a la carte chilli menu, which costs around £45 per person.

Also new for the brasserie is the inclusion of extended opening times with the Sunday menu now also available on Saturdays in what will now be known as "Weekend Brunch".

Food ranging from hot and spicy Goan seafood dishes to North Indian kebabs and curries will be on offer all weekend with a complete meal estimated to cost around £22.

The restaurant is promising "constant" changes to the menu for "a surprise on every visit" - with new dishes including Curry Leaf Scallops on peppered crab.

And finally for the restaurant will be the unveiling of the new London Restaurant Festival menus, showcased from 4-18 October 2010. Featuring a two-course lunch available Monday to Friday with a choice of starter, main course and dessert all for £15, the meal will also be available as an evening dinner throughout the festival period priced £25.
