Firefly Tonics launches contest to create new drink

Firefly Tonics, producers of 100% natural energy drinks, have launched a nationwide competition challenging the public to design their next drink.

With over 300 entries to date, people are encouraged to design everything from the name and flavour of the drink, to the bottle's colour and distinctive Polaroid photo.

The top five entries will go forward to a public vote next month, giving fans of the brand a chance to vote for their favourite via the Firefly website.

The overall winner will be invited to spend the day developing the drink with the team at Firefly HQ in West London. They will also receive a year's supply of their very own Firefly when the drink is launched in early 2010!

Marcus, co-founder of Firefly Tonics, said: "The creativity we've seen so far has been overwhelming. With over a week to go before we shortlist the top five entries, we're encouraging everyone to get creative for the chance to be crowned the next Firefly designer!"

The Firefly Tonics drinks range includes Wake Up (peach & green tea), De-tox (lemon, lime and ginger), Sharpen Up (grapefruit and passionfruit) and Recharge (pomegranate, lime and elderflower).
