Foodservice companies selling Scottish venison invited to get listed

The Scottish Venison Working Group is inviting restaurants, foodservice companies, suppliers and butchers who supply Scottish venison to get listed on its website www.scottish-venison.info.

The website is there to tell both public and trade everything there is to know about Scottish venison, and where it can be bought.  It has opportunities for restaurants, butchers and mail order companies to be listed, as well as game dealers, food service companies and other suppliers to trade.

It also features a Chef of the Month, recipes submitted by chefs and members of the public, a schools education pack, a downloadable butchery guide and loads of other background information about venison from Scotland's deer species.

The Scottish Venison Working Group comprises the Association of Deer Management Groups (ADMG), the British Deer Farmers Association (BDFA), the Deer Commission for Scotland, Forestry Commission Scotland, Scottish Gamekeepers Association (SGA) and Scottish Quality Wild Venison (SQWV).  It is funded by industry organisations with Scottish Government support.

Free listings (up to 50 words plus picture/logo and contact details) can be sent to mail@scottish-venison.info or to rosemary@playfairwalker.com
