FSA hosts food incident prevention workshops

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is hosting two one-day workshops on food incident prevention and management which are specifically being aimed at small to medium sized food businesses in the West Midlands and South West England.

The sessions have been set up in cooperation with local enforcement authorities and will offer guests the chance to pick up advice from national policy makers and incident managers.

Both classes, which will be kicking off on 7 November at Somerset Cricket Club and 21 November, at Hockney Club in West Midlands, will look at issues including concerns to the safety or quality of food, contamination of food, and how to alert the public not to consume potentially contaminated foods.

Places are limited to one person per company and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Interest forms must be received by 24 October.
