Michael Caines launches Women 1st chef development scheme today

Top chef Michael Caines is launching the Women 1st Female Chefs' Development Programme today at The Dorchester, Park Lane, London.

Caines will be the guest speaker at the event which starts at 5.30pm.

The programme is designed to address the gender imbalance amongst chefs.

According to research conducted by People 1st, the Sector Skills Council for Hospitality, Leisure, Travel and Tourism, over 60% of chefs are male – a percentage that significantly increases within fine dining restaurants.

The event is free to attend, however registration is required as spaces are limited. If you would like to attend, please email Chevaan@emmettandsmith.com or call 020 7819 4800.
