The European Safety Bureau launches SafetyNet service

The European Safety Bureau has announced the launch of its SafetyNet small business support service which provides a single point of contact for issues relating to food safety and health & safety at work.

SafetyNet provides its members with user-friendly, downloadable documentation, guidelines and procedures, all of which are easy to understand and easy to follow.

For an annual subscription of £95 + Vat, SafetyNet offers services such as a comprehensive food safety management system, a model food safety policy, leisure safety information and fire risk assessment documentation.

Derek Gardner, chief executive and founding director of The European Safety Bureau explained: "As an independently owned business, our focus has always been on giving our clients the best possible service at the best possible price. We simply cannot afford to do any less.

"We recognised that, for smaller operations such as owner-managed restaurants or single-site hotels, it is often nigh on impossible to keep abreast of ever-changing Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation.  They have neither the time to do it themselves nor the money to employ full-service Consultants such as The Bureau."

The Bureau's marketing manager, Yvonne Withers, added: "We believe that, for the very first time and at an incredibly low cost, small and medium-sized enterprises will be able to access in one place all the up-to- date information, documentation, guidelines, procedures, advice and support they need to be able to put in place rigorous and comprehensive systems to protect themselves, their employees and their customers in the areas of Food Safety and Health & Safety at Work.

For more information contact the European Safety Bureau on 0116 235 4000 or visit the website on www.esb.eu.com.
