
Amit is an internationally experienced pastry chef with 25 years of working in five-star hotels in Dubai, Mumbai, Scotland, Wales and England.
He is a hospitality graduate who found his passion soon in patisserie as a young chef. After moving to the UK from Dubai, Amit has worked as executive pastry chef in many prestigious hotels such as Cameron House, the Celtic Manor Resort and then subsequently joined the Intercontinental Hotel, O2 London in 2016.
With his dedication to craft and passion for the patisserie, Amit has made valuable contribution to the field by mentoring and inspiring young chefs throughout his career by holding workshops and training sessions, two of which young and promising chefs went on to win the Channel 4's series 'Bake Off the Professionals 2024'.
To his own credit, in the past, Amit has been the gold medallist in the 'plated dessert' category of the Welsh Culinary Championships He was also the Welsh culinary grand-prix champion.
For four times, since moving to London, Amit has won the 'award of excellence' for the afternoon tea. He's also the winner of overall dessert championship at the HRC London 2025. Amit is committed to bringing new and fresh ideas, keeping his eyes on the contemporary trends while honouring the traditional craft of patisserie art.
