Open to all areas of the tourism industry, the awards celebrate the best of hotels, attractions, events and people across the capital. Now in their sixth year, the awards are a mark for excellence recognised across the industry. Sally Chatterjee, interim CEO Visit London commented: "The BT Visit London Awards celebrate London's world-class tourism offer and recognise and reward outstanding achievement within the industry. I would like to thank all the businesses that submitted entries, which have been of the highest calibre and made the short-listing process quite a challenge. Final judging will take place over the next months and final Gold, Silver and Bronze winners will be announced at a ceremony at Westfield London on Thursday 5th November. In addition, Visit London will be revealing the People's Choice Awards at the beginning of September, in conjunction with this year's official media partners the Evening Standard, Magic FM and Kiss FM.
