The winner will be awarded a £500 cash prize, a personalised chef's jacket, publicity for their pub in the trade and national press and the coveted British Pie Week trophy which will be presented to them at the Great British Food Awards. Last year's champion, Adam Pavey, who will form part of the judging panel for this year's competition, said: "If you have a passion for pies I'd recommend entering.
