Following the appointment of Andrew Bennett as our new National Chairman and Nick Vadis as National Vice Chair, the annual awards ceremony took place at The Victory Services Club, London.

 

Steve Love, concept development chef from McCormick Flavour Group Europe, was our very well-deserved 2018 Gold Award winner - presented to a member for his/her long and outstanding service to the Craft Guild of Chefs.

 

Love said: “I was very surprised to have been awarded the Craft Guild of Chefs Gold Award this week.

“To be recognised by my peers is a great honour and I am genuinely elated. To be able to make a contribution to this great industry is something I do with a glad heart, but to receive an award such as this for my efforts is truly humbling.”

 

Michael Eyre was meanwhile presented his Diploma Award for his efforts continually promoting the Guild’s aims, saying that he is “very proud to be on the list.”

 

The Guild also celebrated Audrey Dawber’s 50th year of membership, with director of operations, Andrew Green, commenting: “I’d like to extend a huge thank you to Audrey for her continued support for the work of the Craft Guild of Chefs.”
