The extension is in response to requests from the industry for more time to get their entries included.

Craft Guild of Chefs Awards recognises and rewards the hospitality industry’s leading talent, and there are now 16 award categories for which nominations are sought. This includes the new Concept & Innovation Chef Award, which recognises the trendsetters in the industry who are bringing food, fashion and style to the fore.

The 17th award is reserved for a very special person who has made an outstanding contribution to the industry, over and above the call of duty, which is chosen by the committee of the Craft Guild of Chefs.

This year’s winners will be announced at a special award ceremony at the Westminster Park Plaza Hotel in London on Wednesday, June 4 2014.
