EAT hires MasterChef: The Professionals finalist as new executive chef

Written by: Katie Imms
In a new move for French-born chef and 2016 MasterChef: The Professionals finalist, Arnaud Kaziewicz, he was this week (18 April) announced as high-street chain EAT’s new executive chef.

He said: “I am excited to join the EAT. team to make our food great again. For me, this is an opportunity to get back to basics; simple, fresh ingredients, that are combined to be eaten and enjoyed, and always seasoned perfectly.

High-street food doesn’t have to be about mass production, it should be based on home cooked food.”

Drawing on Kaziewicz’s passion for using the “best quality” ingredients, EAT has incorporated market cooking and fresh, seasonal produce into its new range of salads and “revamped” baguettes, which are due to launch next week (25 April).

Alongside the Mexican guacamole and quinoa, sweet pepper chicken and high protein super nutty salads, EAT is relaunching its “revamped” ham and Jarlsberg rustic, and French Brie and tomato baguettes.

EAT. marketing director, Holly Oades, added: “Arnaud brings a wealth of culinary knowledge, global travels and experience in food development to ensure EAT. is a serious contender on the high street.”
