The venue will be transformed into a fun-filled arena where competitors will do battle with foam, inflatables and industry rivals to win the coveted title of IAKO champions – Liverpool. The event will involve teams going head to head to raise valuable funds for the hospitality industry's benevolent organisation, Hospitality Action. A variety of different tasks will put teams through their paces, requiring everything from speed, co-ordination and balance to simply a willingness to smile whilst diving into foam. The games will include IAKO favourites such as The Great Escape, Chicken Run and Human Demolition – with eight different games in total there's sure to be something to suit everyone. Top prizes will be on offer for both the winning team and the best-named team on the day. Starting at 1.30pm the event will go right though to the early evening, with a free BBQ, snacks and drinks for all those taking part. The event follows on from the success of the Manchester It's a Knockout last year where nearly 20 teams, did battle to raise nearly £15,000 for Hospitality Action. Teams of ten can enter for as little as £750, or for £1,200, teams can secure sponsorship of the event. This includes branding at the event as well as the opportunity to name your own game and free spectator tickets – complete with the satisfaction of knowing it's all in aid of a good cause.
