La Tasca awards its best restaurants and managers
La Tasca, the Spanish restaurant and bar group, has rewarded its best restaurants and managers at their annual awards ceremony last week in Manchester.
Winner's included Javier Mellado (Liverpool) who picked up the Restaurant of the year award, Arancha Campo (Exeter) walked away with the Best New Restaurant title, and Fernando Freita (Broadgate) won the Customer Service Restaurant of the Year award.
The winning managers of each of the categories received their award from La Tasca's managing director, Andrew Buchanan, along with the winning prize of a three day all-expense paid trip to Barcelona, courtesy of Spanish Beer, Estrella Damm.
Buchanan commented on these achievements: "At La Tasca we aim to offer something quite different from other restaurants in the market. We have adopted the Spanish way of dining – great food for sharing with friends but at affordable prices."
The group is also launching their Spring/Summer menu offering dishes including Mejillones, mussels in a tomato & garlic sauce and Selection de Tapas, a tapas set menu devised by the development chef.
