The Landmark completes first kitchen apprenticeship scheme

Written by: Admin
Three students from Westminster Kingsway College (WKC) in London have successfully completed their kitchen apprenticeship at the five-star Landmark London in Marylebone.
The three apprentices started the newly launched programme two years ago, spending one week per month at the college and the remaining three weeks of each month in The Landmark London's kitchen, under the supervision of the executive chef Gary Klaner. All three will now spend an additional third year full-time at The Landmark London to hone their skills. Klaner is delighted with the result and said that it is the perfect scheme to overcome the skills shortage in the UK. He has now accepted four new apprentices for the next two-year programme, three of whom will be working in the kitchen and one in pastry.
