
Le Cordon Bleu to host Summer Festival
Le Cordon Bleu is a global network of culinary arts and hospitality management institutes with a rich heritage spanning over 120 years.
Cooking demonstrations from guest chefs will showcase their recipes and techniques, including Asma Khan of Darjeeling Express and featured in Netflix Chef’s Table, Anna Hansen of The Modern Pantry and Ramael Scully of Scully in St James’ Market.
Practical culinary workshops will be run by the following Le Cordon Bleu alumni: Sarju Ranavaya, a pastry chef at The Taste Lab, Joo Won, head chef at the Mitchellin-starred Galvin at Windows and Olivia Burt, a sous chef at Claridges hotel.
There will be three wine tasting sessions with master sommelier Matthieu Longuere, focusing on how to choose the right wine for any event or occasion, to suit any food palette and how to decode labels.
The Le Corden Bleu Summer Festival will have an all-day Slow Food Market with food suppliers and producers. Some of the participants include Haye Organic Farm, Brambletye Biodynamic Farm, Hook & Son Raw Organic Milk, Bath Soft Cheese Co and Kitty’s Kombucha.
Tours of will be offered throughout the day with Le Cordon Bleu staff on hand to answer any questions.
