Master Chefs of Great Britain (MCGB) and Town & Country Fine Foods have announced their seven Young Pastry Chef of the Year finalists.

Master Chefs of Great Britain (MCGB) and Town & Country Fine Foods have announced their seven Young Pastry Chef of the Year finalists.

In with the chance of winning the David Lyell Scholarship top prize, are:

  • Ance Kristone
  • Chahna Davis
  • Chloe Hammond
  • Fiona Bailey
  • Jess Rawlins
  • Julien Piveteau
  • Mark MacGechan

 

Organisers MCGB said: “Everyone who entered this year should be extremely proud of themselves.

 

“The judges had a difficult time in selecting the seven finalists from the entries, which were of very high standard across the board.”

 

The final will take place 9 April at The Claire Clarke Academy (Milton Keynes College) with judges including chefs Ross Sneddon, Benoit Blin, Mick Burke, Liam Grime, Mark Poynton and Jerome Dreux.
