MasterChef critic launches self-titled supper club
Sitwell’s Supper Club will be held at homes brand, OKA’s Chelsea store, where Pedder and Cooke – of London Bridge restaurant Lupins – will join the Waitrose Food editor in the kitchen.
The aim: to “bring true seasonal British ingredients to the table without falling into the melting pot of overdone traditional British cooking.”
Dishes will therefore incorporate each chefs’ favourite ingredients, which they will infuse with global flavours to create ‘innovative sunshine food,’ including substantial meals, small plates, snacks and sharing boards.
Sitwell said: PI started my supper club in the English countryside to allow people who didn’t live in London to still enjoy exceptional food cooked by the capital’s best chefs.
“It was a huge success.
“Now I’ll be bringing the best chefs from out of London into the capital as well as showcasing smaller restaurants and up-and-coming talent who I think deserve a wider audience.
“Natasha and Lucy are perfect examples of this. Wonderful chefs who I think have a great future.”
Sitwell’s Supper Club follows the success of the country dinners Sitwell has regularly hosted at his Northamptonshire home since 2017.
