New Tapas bar to open at Bluewater shopping site
Chef Omar Allibhoy has announced plans to launch a second Madrid-style all-day tapas bar.
The new Tapas Revolution will open in Bluewater on the week of 14th November.
Allibhoy's second branch will be located in Bluewater's Plaza and is set to match the Tapas Revolution in Westfield London (Shepherd's Bush), which opened last year.
The venture will feature a Spanish tapas bar, which includes an open plan kitchen and a square 30-metre pewter bar that will be surrounded by 40 high stools and a number of red leather booths for larger groups and families.
Dishes on the menu will include a Spanish style 'Full English Breakfast' (chorizo, patatas bravas, egg and toast), or a tapas y vinos (tapas with wine) for lunch or dinner, an authentic bocadillo (sandwich), or a Churros Con Chocolate.
Allibhoy will be using only the freshest ingredients in his kitchen and will also source key produce from small farms in Spain, including Jamon Iberico, traditional cheeses, chorizo and charcuterie.
Allibhoy commented on the new venue: "Bluewater is a great location to open our next Tapas Revolution and I'm sure our visitors will experience what it's truly like to eat at an authentic tapas bar. It's always been important for me to show the British public quality but affordable Spanish food and I believe Tapas Revolution achieves just that. "Opening a second tapas bar is a great opportunity to continue spreading the word about great Spanish tapas and will bring the real taste of Spain to Kent."
