Written by: Admin
Jamie Barriball, chef at The Brendon Arms in Bude, has been named the winner of McCain’s Classics competition, run through the Foodservice Rewards loyalty programme.
After some expert tuition in circuit driving techniques, Jamie will get behind the wheel of three all-time favourite motors including an Aston Martin and a Jaguar. McCain Foods joined the Foodservice Rewards loyalty programme earlier this year. Registered caterers have been able to collect points on both McCain Classics' Best of British Thick Cut and Beefeater Cut. Over 1,300 entries where made for the chance to win the classic car day experience. Jamie said he was thrilled to find out he'd won: "Winning this classic car experience has made my day. I love cars; they happen to be my hobby so to win this prize from McCain Foods is a dream come true. I can't wait to get behind the wheel and get on the track." Adrian Greaves, McCain Foodservice associate director added: "The Foodservice Rewards programme is a fantastic way to incentivise and say thank you to our loyal customers, and we're delighted to be participating in the initiative. It's important to the industry that we continue to support these programmes and reward our customers, particularly through difficult trading times."
