Top contenders named by The Good Food Guide
The Good Food Guide has today announced the top contenders for its London Restaurant of the Year award.
The top London contenders are Bar Shu in Soho, Pied a Terre in Fitzrovia, Kulu Kulu Sushi in Soho and Mayfair's El Pirata.
Over 6,000 votes have been received already for this award. Nominations are still open until 23 May. Members of the public can vote online, by text or by sending in a postcard available from restaurants.
The award recognises excellence and good service at restaurants, pubs, cafes in the capital.
The London Restaurant of the Year will be revealed at the end of May and will feature in next year's edition of The Good Food Guide.
It will also compete with nine other regional winners for The Which? Good Food Guide – Restaurant of the Year award, which will be presented at a ceremony on 17 June at the British Museum.
Elizabeth Carter, consultant editor of the Which? Good Food Guide, explained: "All entries in The Good Food Guide are based on reader feedback as well as our expert inspection, but these awards really do ensure that we recognise the restaurants that the public love to visit."
